SlipBot Automated Loading Robot
About
About SlipBot Automated Loading Robot
SlipBot is a low-profile mobile platform that carries a loaded steel carrier between a dock staging lane and a standard enclosed trailer. Freight is placed and secured on the carrier outside the trailer; the robot then drives the complete load into position and remains beneath it during a closed-loop shipment. At the destination, the sequence reverses, reducing the need for forklifts or personnel to enter the trailer during transfer.
The current datasheet specifies a 12,000-pound payload, ten positions for standard 48-by-40-inch pallets and a five-minute load or unload cycle. Three platforms can occupy one trailer and collectively carry up to 36,000 pounds. A handheld controller works without Wi-Fi, and the installation is designed for standard docks and trailers without fixed infrastructure changes. Slip Robotics supplies the system through a subscription that includes platforms, attachments, software, maintenance, training and diagnostics; route design and load securement remain site responsibilities.
