VENUS USV

VENUS USV is ST Engineering's modular unmanned surface-vessel platform for mine countermeasures, maritime security and public-safety missions. Mission modules can configure the vessel for policing, firefighting, search and rescue, underwater survey or inspection, with control stations and a cyber-secured datalink supporting the wider system.

Radar and optical trackers feed a multi-sensor perception suite for obstacle detection in congested water. VENUS supports autonomous waypoint navigation, dynamic positioning, manned-unmanned teaming, screening and blocking. A portable remote-control unit also supports remote operation, autonomous slip-off and berthing around ports and other high-traffic maritime environments.
