CUSV

CUSV is Textron Systems’ multipayload surface vessel built around a common maritime command-and-control architecture. Its mission equipment can be changed for survey, security, monitoring and mine-countermeasure roles. Satellite communications capability and a datalink-agnostic design support integration with different control environments.

The vessel is designed to tow equipment as well as carry onboard payloads, with towing force above 4,000 pounds-force at twenty knots. Textron specifies more than twenty hours of endurance for the described platform. Its interfaces support integration with the Littoral Combat Ship communications architecture and broader unmanned-system control protocols.
