About

About ARCIMS USV

ARCIMS is a military-grade uncrewed surface vessel designed to operate autonomously or by remote control. The 11-metre platform carries interchangeable mission modules for mine hunting, minesweeping, anti-submarine warfare, security and patrol, and can launch or recover off-board systems. Its modular deck and control architecture allow a vessel to be re-roled without extensive platform modification.

The USV combines high-speed load carrying, shallow-water operation, high towing capacity and collision-avoidance behaviours with a shore- or mothership-based remote operations centre. ARCIMS has been in service with multiple navies, including the Royal Navy, and is accredited to Lloyd’s Level 3 for uncrewed systems. The platform and containerized mission payloads are transportable by road, sea or air, supporting deployment as a stand-alone craft or within a wider mine-countermeasure system.
