Operator

Taurob Operator is a tracked mobile manipulator for inspecting and interacting with equipment in hazardous industrial facilities. Its five-degree-of-freedom arm reaches 1.8 metres vertically and accepts custom tools, while the end effector provides more than 100 newtons of gripping force and about 150 newton-metres of torque. Near the vehicle, the arm can lift up to 75 kilograms; at full extension the rated load is 30 kilograms.

The platform combines remote control and autonomous inspection with 3D LiDAR, 360-degree cameras, an arm camera, thermal and depth sensing, audio and gas detection. It crosses grated floors, concrete, grass, gravel, sand, ramps and stairs up to 45 degrees, with IP67 protection and a −20°C to 60°C operating range. Taurob's current product presentation labels Operator a prototype, so demonstrated maturity is retained despite its detailed specification and ATEX-oriented safety architecture.
