Z-Boat 1800T

Z-Boat 1800T is a compact shallow-water hydrographic USV configured as an integrated survey package. Teledyne combines its Oceanscience surface vehicle with an Odom Echotrac E20 single-beam echosounder and a Trimble BX992 dual-antenna GNSS heading receiver.

The package is intended to provide positioning, heading and depth measurements from one portable unmanned vessel. Teledyne identifies marine construction and dredging among its target applications, where the vehicle can collect survey data in shallow or difficult water without placing a surveyor aboard the platform.
