About DroneQ Robotics
DroneQ combines remotely operated underwater vehicles, autonomous surface craft and aerial drones around the inspection requirements of a specific asset. Payloads include visual cameras, multibeam sonar, manipulators and non-destructive-testing instruments for examining quay walls, pipelines, offshore structures, tanks and difficult internal spaces. Three-dimensional and time-series imaging can turn repeated surveys into measurable records of corrosion, deformation, fouling or other change.
The company provides the operating team as well as the machines. A project covers mission planning, permits, sensor selection, vehicle deployment, data capture, interpretation and reporting, with findings structured around the customer’s maintenance or asset-integrity workflow. Its partnerships expand the available platforms: SEAMOR ROVs add subsea operation to depths of around 600 metres, while specialised indoor aerial systems inspect boilers and tanks without conventional scaffolding or human entry.

- 2026-04-02 - Partnership - DroneQ Robotics signs agreement with Mark Offshore to deploy R/V Mintis as offshore inspection and survey platform
DroneQ Robotics and Mark Offshore agreed to deploy the DP1 ROV support and survey vessel R/V Mintis as an integrated offshore platform for inspection and survey operations. Under the agreement, DroneQ secured exclusive rights to use the vessel for its own projects, Intertek projects, and third-party work. The vessel is being positioned around subsea inspection, survey work, ROV services, magnetic crawler operations, and offshore drone inspection.

Intertek partnered with DroneQ Robotics to provide advanced unmanned robotics services across ports, industrial sites and offshore energy assets. The joint offer covers inspections, surveys, 3D imaging and non-destructive testing using underwater, surface and aerial robotic systems. DroneQ contributes ROV, USV, subsea-robot and aerial-drone operations to Intertek's broader inspection and asset-integrity services.

The companies agreed to test and explore deployment of M-Speeder vessels for high-speed maritime cargo movement in ports and offshore environments. Speeder Systems' electric VTOL and wing-in-ground-effect design is intended to move cargo to offshore platforms with helicopter-like speed while reducing cost and emissions. DroneQ brought maritime cargo operations experience and agreed to represent Speeder Systems within its existing innovation clusters.

DroneQ identified offshore drilling support, pipeline and cable projects, construction, commissioning and infrastructure inspection as target workflows. The launch expanded the operator's coverage across aerial drones, uncrewed surface vessels and underwater robots.
