About JOUAV
JOUAV develops fixed-wing vertical-take-off-and-landing aircraft and mission software for mapping, inspection, emergency response and public-sector aerial-data work. Its CW-series platforms combine runway-independent launch with efficient wing-borne cruise for long-range operations over energy networks, terrain, coastlines and infrastructure.
Interchangeable payloads include mapping cameras, lidar, optical and thermal gimbals and other specialist sensors. Flight-control, ground-station and data-processing tools support route planning, payload operation and collection workflows, while communications options extend command and data links for demanding missions. JOUAV manufactures complete industrial UAS and provides training, maintenance and application integration through an international partner network.

JOUAV and Systronics announced the 5th Generation VTOL Fixed-Wing UAV Pilot Training Program in Thailand. The program is scheduled for June 23 to 26, 2026. The training supports JOUAV international operator ecosystem for fixed-wing VTOL UAVs.

JOUAV announced the JoLiDAR-120G launch on 8 July 2024. The payload weighs 2.5 kg including its camera and has a stated maximum range of 1,800 metres. In rigorous CW-15 tests, measured distances exceeded 1,500 metres and the point cloud covered 1,314.517 metres of height difference.

The announced payload limit increased from 6 kg to 10 kg, with an open mechatronic interface for LiDAR, gimbal cameras, speakers and lighting equipment. Launch specifications listed 75 minutes of endurance, 18 m/s maximum speed and a 30 km communications range. The new configuration added RTK positioning, multi-direction obstacle avoidance, terrain-following flight and an IP55 protection rating.
