NOVI Space develops onboard computing, AI payloads and smart satellites for Earth observation and autonomous space operations. Flight-proven computers run customer software in orbit, while GENIEedge multi-sensor satellites process imagery near the source and transmit useful insights instead of every raw frame.
Mission-as-a-Service covers integration, validation, launch and operation for partner applications. The infrastructure supports geospatial intelligence, missile defence, lunar operations, satellite servicing and experiments that need edge compute in space. NOVI supplies individual onboard computers as well as complete satellite missions, giving software teams a path from ground testing to sustained orbital use.

Hivemind generated 189 commands that passed NOVI’s SAFE validation over a 24-hour test window. The hybrid experiment used Sedaro simulation infrastructure to connect the live spacecraft with five virtual peers. This is a validated on-orbit autonomy demonstration, not evidence that Hivemind now operates an autonomous commercial constellation.

Ubotica announced a partnership agreement with NOVI Space to support real-time AI inference in orbit. The ongoing seed round also attracted Spirit Electronics Ventures, Tyger River Capital and AIN Ventures. VIPC previously provided a commercialization grant that helped bridge NOVI between Air Force Research Lab SBIR phases. NOVI had launched a satellite on SpaceX Transporter-12 in January 2025 and was developing its VISTAsat data platform.
