  • BXI integrates a brushless motor, planetary gearhead, absolute encoder and optional brake in a compact joint-drive package.
  • The drive uses a 42-millimetre outer diameter and is designed to deliver high torque where installation space and weight are constrained.
  • FAULHABER positions BXI for collaborative, industrial, medical and humanoid robot joints as well as related automation axes.

FAULHABER develops miniature and micro drive systems, including DC motors, brushless DC motors, stepper motors, linear motors, gearheads, encoders and motion-control electronics. Its robotics relevance sits in compact drive systems for humanoid robots, robotic hands, service robots, inspection robots, logistics robots, surgical robotics and other space-constrained motion applications.
