Surtr Defense Systems raised a $4.8M seed round to build software that integrates counter-UAS sensors, command tools and effectors into a single operator interface.

Surtr Defense Systems builds ParallaxOS, an open counter-UAS operating system for sensor fusion, C2 and human-authorized effector tasking. The San Francisco company raised a $4.8M seed in July 2026 and has tested acoustic and visual FPV-drone tracking with military operators in Ukraine.
