TrustMotion develops safety middleware, network hardware and integration services for software-defined vehicles. The NXP-owned business continues the TTTech Auto product lineage, including MotionWise software for coordinating safety-critical compute and communication.
Automakers and suppliers use these layers in assisted and automated vehicle programmes. Supported processors, safety certification, vehicle functions and production status remain tied to the selected MotionWise product and customer architecture.

- 2026-04-30 - Org Change - TTTech Auto becomes TrustMotion
The TrustMotion name took effect on 30 April 2026 after NXP completed the acquisition in June 2025. Chris Greentree became General Manager and Stefan Poledna moved into the Chief Technology Officer role. The renamed business retained MotionWise safety middleware, hardware design, safety consulting and customer integration programs.

MotionWise Communication provides vehicle-wide communication spanning high-performance computers and microcontrollers. The product supports DDS, Zenoh, AUTOSAR and ROS 2 across Linux, QNX and Android environments. TrustMotion describes it as a joint automotive product built with ZettaScale technology.

The acquisition followed the agreement announced in January 2025. The combined stack links NXP system-on-chip platforms with safety-critical middleware. TTTech Auto later adopted the TrustMotion name in April 2026.
