About
About IPR Robotics
IPR develops peripherals and auxiliary motion systems for industrial robots. Its range includes parallel and angular grippers, tool changers, load limiters, compliance devices, seventh axes and application-specific handling systems.
The products support high-force, high-speed and precision automation, including demanding temperature and payload environments. IPR combines standard components with engineering and integration support; final performance depends on the selected robot, tool and process.

Events
- 2025-12-02 - Partnership - IPR and Flexxbotics partner on StackTrax
The companies announced the partnership on December 2, 2025. Flexxbotics coordinates robots, machines and StackTrax motion for closed-loop process control and automated changeovers. The combined system became immediately available in North America for multi-machine, high-mix manufacturing lines.
Source - 2025-09-24 - Product Launch - IPR introduces StackTrax dual-rail RTU
IPR introduced StackTrax on September 24, 2025. The system combines standard floor and transverse rails so one robot can move across multiple machines. IPR positioned the modular RTU between single-axis rails and larger gantry systems, with shorter lead times and a smaller footprint.
Source - 2022-07-11 - Product Launch - IPR launches TKX robot tool changers
IPR announced the TKX family on July 11, 2022. The range provides three drive concepts and configurable media-transfer options for robot tooling. The family targets flexible smart-factory cells that need repeatable automatic tool changes across varied processes.
Source - 2022-06-15 - Product Launch - IPR adds three robot-gripper series
IPR announced the gripper expansion on June 15, 2022. The release added three product series spanning configurable parallel and centric gripping requirements. IPR designed the families to widen payload, stroke and application coverage for industrial handling systems.
Source - 2021-10-04 - Executive Hire - Walter Sayer takes over IPR leadership
IPR announced the leadership transition on October 4, 2021. Walter Sayer became sole managing director as Dr. Markus Kamp moved to the advisory board. The founding Doll family and investor HANNOVER Finanz described the change as the completion of a multi-year management-succession process.
