Unifly
About
About Unifly
Unifly’s platform links authorities, airports and aircraft operators through digital flight planning, rule validation, authorisation, monitoring and post-flight reporting. Supervisor interfaces present live traffic and restrictions, operator tools guide missions through regulated airspace, and BLIP supplies broadcast identification and position data from individual aircraft. The company says its technology has supported millions of validated flights across national and regional deployments.
Terra Drone acquired a 51% stake in 2023, making Unifly part of its wider aerial-mobility group. Unifly subsequently acquired EuroUSC Italia to add regulatory and SORA consulting. Current programmes include Malaysia’s national UTM implementation and CONDUCT 2 research on conflict detection and dynamic airspace segmentation for denser urban operations.

Timeline
Events
- 2026-09-15 - Org Change - Unifly renames EuroUSC-Benelux as Unifly Compliance
The business provides independent compliance monitoring, audits and safety management services for drone operators across Benelux and Europe. Led by Michael Maes, the unit supports Light UAS Operator Certificate holders and keeps its assessments independent of Unifly's technology and commercial activities.
Source - 2026-07-27 - Contract Award - Unifly wins EUR 1.15M Belgian defence UTM contract
The platform will support centralised management of drone operations across airspace controlled by the Belgian armed forces. The award covers system introduction and the operating foundation for the defence UTM environment. Unifly is a Terra Drone subsidiary; the contract is an awarded procurement outcome, not a live deployment claim.
Source - 2026-06-15 - Partnership - Unifly and MBDA partner on end-to-end counter-UAS solutions
The collaboration is intended to combine detection, identification, tracking and response layers rather than a standalone aircraft offering. Unifly brings airspace-management and coordination software to MBDA’s broader counter-UAS stack.
Source - 2026-06-15 - Partnership - Unifly and MBDA sign partnership for end-to-end C-UAS solutions
The agreement combines Unifly’s UTM platform with MBDA air-defense and C-UAS expertise. Target environments include military sites, critical infrastructure, airports, ports and public events.
Source - 2026-05-26 - Contract Award - Terra Drone group company Unifly selected for Malaysia national UTM platform
Terra Drone said its group company Unifly was selected as the technology partner for U2 Operational Traffic Management under Malaysia's ClearPath UASTMS program. The U2 system handles operational traffic management within a national drone platform that also includes registration capabilities. This is a drone-infrastructure event around UTM software and national low-altitude airspace operations, not an aircraft item.
Source - 2025-11-19 - Partnership - Unifly and CorePeelers partner on UTM deployment opportunities in India
Unifly and CorePeelers announced a strategic partnership to advance unmanned traffic management and drone ecosystem development in India. CorePeelers is expected to support localisation, integration and operationalisation of Unifly UTM technology for Indian government, defence, airport and ANSP channels.
Source - 2025-02-14 - Demonstration - Unifly completes Certiflight port-surveillance UTM demonstration at Antwerp-Bruges
Unifly said it completed a validation campaign and real-time demonstration for the Certiflight project at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges. The demonstration used blockchain-backed UTM capabilities with Sky Vision in a port-surveillance scenario. The event supports Unifly’s UTM positioning in complex infrastructure environments rather than airframe manufacturing.
