O-ID
About
About O-ID
O-ID's platform pairs an articulated upper body with an omnidirectional wheeled base, allowing manipulation and movement within an industrial workspace. The company targets assembly and line-side handling, case picking and transfer, sorting and packing, and inspection in spaces that are difficult for people to enter.
Its current published configuration is approximately 70 kilograms with 30 degrees of freedom and a stated 16-kilogram payload. O-ID labels these specifications as indicative and supplies a full datasheet on request. Task-specific hand configurations and replaceable sections are central to its proposed deployment model, linking application customisation with maintenance of individual robot assemblies.

Hustle Fund, Techstars and angel investors also participated in the round. The robot design uses replaceable joints, limbs and compute modules intended for on-site servicing. O-ID signed a letter of intent with Sumitomo Electric to discuss possible wire-harness technology use; it is not a supply order.
