About Collaborative Robotics
Proxie uses a swerve-drive mobile base that can turn within narrow corridors and work with the carts, trays and equipment already used inside a facility. ScoutSense perception operates at human height, while Flex Grasp and optional bimanual arms extend the robot from cart movement into picking, placing and restocking.
Auto Tasking allows Proxie to identify work from the operating environment, while Vista coordinates missions across the fleet. Gen 2 also adds autonomous battery swapping for continuous operation. Cobot supplies Proxie as a managed commercial system for healthcare, manufacturing and distribution facilities.

- 2026-06-22 - Product Launch - Cobot announces second-generation Proxie mobile collaborative robot
The launch says first-generation Proxie has logged 12,627 production operating hours and moved more than 40 million pounds of materials. Gen2 adds on-robot AI compute, Autotasking, ScoutSense sensing, a self-swapping battery station and an optional two-arm configuration. Cobot says the second-generation platform is available to order from $5,000 per month.
Source - 2024-12-01 - Deployment - Collaborative Robotics develops Proxie with NVIDIA Isaac and reports early production deployment metrics
Collaborative Robotics said it used NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Isaac ROS, Jetson AGX Orin, and Jetson Nano in a simulation-first workflow to build and deploy Proxie. The company said Proxie had already been deployed in logistics, hospital, and manufacturing operations, with about 30 robots in operation, more than 5,000 operational hours, 16,000 carts moved, and over 621 miles traveled in customer facilities. The update linked Proxie's perception, navigation, voice interaction, and planning stack directly to production use rather than lab-only development.
Source - 2024-11-20 - Product Launch - Collaborative Robotics launches Proxie, its first collaborative robot, and names initial customers
Collaborative Robotics launched Proxie as a collaborative mobile manipulator built for work alongside people. Initial customers included Maersk, Mayo Clinic, Moderna, Owens & Minor and Tampa General Hospital across healthcare and logistics settings. The launch disclosed named production users and established Proxie as the company’s first commercially deployed robot platform.
Source - 2024-04-10 - Funding - Collaborative Robotics raises $100 million Series B led by General Catalyst
Collaborative Robotics announced a $100 million Series B led by General Catalyst with participation from existing and new backers. The company said the financing would scale development and deployment of its collaborative robotics platform for logistics, healthcare, and industrial environments. The round followed earlier seed and Series A financings and supported the path to broader customer rollout.
Source - 2023-07-26 - Funding - Collaborative Robotics raises $30 million Series A and launches its Flywheel customer program
Collaborative Robotics announced a $30 million Series A led by Sequoia Capital with participation from Khosla Ventures, Mayo Clinic, Calibrate Ventures, Neo, 1984 Ventures, MVP Ventures, Jeff Wilke, and Fuel Capital. The company said the raise would support development and deployment of its collaborative robot platform and expansion of its customer work in biotechnology, healthcare, and logistics. The same announcement introduced the Flywheel Program as an early customer-development initiative tied to real-world robot deployment.
Source - 2022-06-15 - Funding - Collaborative Robotics launches with $10 million in seed funding
Collaborative Robotics launched with $10 million in seed funding shortly after founding, led by former Amazon Robotics executive Brad Porter. The company said it was building practical collaborative robots designed to work alongside people across logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, and related environments. The launch established Collaborative Robotics as a new robotics company rather than a stealth project still in formation.
