About
About DoorDash
DoorDash’s Autonomous Delivery Platform selects and coordinates delivery methods across human Dashers, in-house robots, drones and external autonomous partners. Dot is an electric ground robot developed by DoorDash Labs to carry orders across roads, cycle lanes, pavements and driveways, with commercial deployment beginning in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
DoorDash Air extends the internal programme into aircraft designed around local-commerce routes, while the marketplace also dispatches deliveries through Wing, Coco Robotics and Waymo. Merchant preparation, vehicle assignment, customer communication and handoff remain within the DoorDash transaction flow, allowing different transport modes to operate behind one consumer and merchant interface.
