About Samsung Electronics
Samsung Electronics develops consumer devices, semiconductors, AI software and manufacturing technology, with robotics work spanning future humanoids and factory automation.
Samsung became Rainbow Robotics' largest shareholder and created a CEO-level Future Robot Office to develop core technologies, including humanoids. In July 2026, Samsung also announced investment plans for humanoid production systems, robot-data infrastructure and manufacturing automation in Korea. Product release and deployment remain separate from those corporate programmes.
