Ottobock develops prosthetics, orthotics, wheelchairs and wearable exoskeletons. Its medical products support mobility and rehabilitation through individually fitted devices and a global clinical-service network, while occupational systems reduce physical strain during repeated industrial work.
Paexo exoskeletons support the shoulders, back or other body regions without replacing the worker's control of the task. Ottobock combines biomechanics, lightweight structures and fitting expertise with training and service. Medical indications, reimbursement and regulatory requirements remain specific to each product and country.

Ottobock Care’s clinic network will support patient evaluation and staff training during the programme. The partners will coordinate reimbursement support alongside clinical access. The announcement describes a six-month national pilot rather than a permanent network-wide rollout.

The Volton XP Companion app combines exoskeleton sensor data with ergonomic analysis, activity profiles and usage trends. Ottobock said more than 477 hours of workplace measurement informed the platform and reported strain reductions of up to 43 percent in the evaluated tasks. The company also introduced a new IX SHOULDER AIR generation for overhead work in automotive assembly and other industrial settings.
