About Aaronia
AARTOS detects radio emissions associated with drones and their control links without transmitting a radar signal of its own. Networked directional antennas feed spectrum data into RTSA software, which classifies signals, estimates bearing and can combine multiple sensor locations to locate aircraft or operators.
The same platform can record and analyse wider RF activity around a protected site, supporting retrospective investigation as well as live alerting. Aaronia supplies spectrum analysers, IsoLOG directional antennas, software, integration and calibration from its German manufacturing base, allowing systems to scale from a transportable unit to a distributed perimeter network.
Team
- Thorsten Chmielus - Founder & CEO - Founded Aaronia and leads its RF spectrum-analysis and counter-UAS business.

Events
- 2026-06-16 - Product Launch - Aaronia unveils sub-5kg AARTOS Hawk T1 airborne RF-geolocation payload
The payload weighs under 5kg and can be integrated with commercial multirotor or fixed-wing aircraft. Blind-TDoA processing supports geolocation of encrypted, unknown and non-cooperative signals. Aaronia specifies 10MHz–8GHz standard coverage, with an optional 9kHz–18GHz configuration.
