About VisionWave
VisionWave is developing sensing, autonomy and mission-control technology for defence and security. Stratum is an AI-based management platform intended to coordinate aerial, ground and maritime uncrewed vehicles, fuse sensor data and report field information to operators in real time.
The architecture is being designed to manage both individual platforms and mixed fleets, using computer vision, analytics and mesh communications for mission execution and decision support. VisionWave has also announced TALON tactical aircraft and D-FLY counter-UAS concepts within this ecosystem. These programmes remain in development ahead of broad operational deployment or scaled production.

- 2026-09-24 - Market Signal - VisionWave accepts conditional $20M order for 200 STRATUM VARAN UGVs
The Dubai-based buyer is a trader rather than the end user; each prospective end user requires VisionWave approval. The $2 million advance has not been paid, and financing proof, a bank guarantee, export permissions and compliance reviews remain outstanding. VisionWave says no conditions had been met, no revenue had been recognized and the order was not included in backlog as of September 24.

The framework covers joint integration, demonstrations, proof-of-concept programmes, customer evaluations and potential commercialization. Foresight will support VARAN business development in South Korea, Japan, India and Singapore; VisionWave may promote approved integrated military solutions globally. Specific customer programmes, production commitments and commercial terms still require separate definitive agreements.

Meteor Aerospace is valued at $40 million pre-money in the transaction. VisionWave framed Meteor as active across unmanned systems, EW, sensors, C4ISR and related defense technologies. The transaction would give VisionWave a controlling 51% stake.

TALON is positioned for autonomous mission execution, distributed sensing, ISR, communications relay and GNSS-degraded operation. D-FLY is positioned as an autonomous C-UAS intercept platform for fast-response drone defense. The platforms expand STRATUM alongside existing CAEAN and VARAN systems for defense, border and critical-infrastructure protection missions.

The agreement contemplates a two-stage investment of up to $17.5 million and a controlling interest in Foresight. VisionWave and Foresight also planned a perception-technology collaboration. Closing remains subject to regulatory, exchange and shareholder approvals.
