About Advanced Micro Devices
AMD’s Kria KR260 Robotics Starter Kit combines a K26 system-on-module with industrial networking and peripheral interfaces in a platform designed for ROS 2 development. Its adaptive logic can accelerate selected perception, filtering or control workloads in hardware while Arm processor cores continue running the operating system and higher-level robot application.
The Kria Robotics Stack provides ROS 2-compatible accelerated functions and reference designs that help developers move from software prototypes to deployed embedded systems. This gives robot builders a path to tailor compute pipelines for latency and deterministic performance without designing a custom FPGA board before validating the application.
