About Albacore
Albacore develops Ghostfin, an unmanned underwater vehicle designed for sensing, communications, logistics and defence missions. Its interchangeable payload sections allow the same vehicle architecture to support different equipment, while launch and recovery can be handled by a small team from a pier, beach or ordinary boat.
Ghostfin is intended to operate without a dedicated submarine-support vessel, extending Albacore's focus to deployable underwater systems for teams with limited marine infrastructure. The vehicle remains an early-stage system under development, with endurance and range stated as programme targets.
