Ping DSP develops three-dimensional sonar for subsea survey, inspection and navigation. Its 3DSS family transmits and receives multiple acoustic beams to produce georeferenced bathymetry and imagery from ROVs, AUVs and surface vessels.
Compact systems combine the sonar head, processing electronics and software for real-time visualisation and post-processing. Wide swaths and volumetric data help operators inspect structures, map seabeds and understand complex targets where optical visibility is poor.
