About Nortek
Nortek develops acoustic instruments for ocean measurement and subsea navigation. Doppler velocity logs measure a vehicle's motion relative to the seabed or water, while acoustic Doppler current profilers characterise currents from vessels, buoys and fixed installations.
DVL 333, 500 and 1000 models cover compact through long-range requirements and versions rated to 6,000 metres. They pair with inertial systems to constrain navigation drift on AUVs, ROVs and subsea gliders, and provide per-beam quality estimates to control software. Nortek also supplies the Nucleus sensor hub, integration tools and oceanographic analysis software.
