About Avea Robotics
Avea Robotics connects robot autonomy with human operators through Sentinel, a software layer for remote operation and recovery. When an autonomous task fails, an operator can see through the robot’s cameras, take control and return the machine to autonomous operation after resolving the problem.
The intervention is saved as an episode that can feed later training, linking deployment support with data collection. Robot interfaces include ROS 2, Python and C++, while fleet tools bring machines, operators and alerts into one view. Avea supplies this operational connection around the customer’s robot and autonomy software, supporting a progression from local teleoperation to supervised fleets.

- 2026-06-01 - Product Launch - Avea Robotics launches Sentinel teleoperation system on Y Combinator
The launch post described Sentinel as software for remote operators to intervene when robots get stuck. Avea said the system was designed to keep robots running in factories, logistics warehouses, and other field deployments. The company reported roughly 18k MRR and nearly 30 robots helped deployed at the time of launch.
