About Chipforge
Chipforge turns a natural-language hardware requirement into a derived specification, synthesised register-transfer-level code and an automatically generated verification loop. Its SMELTR workflow creates tests, simulates the design, identifies failed checks, patches the implementation and iterates until the defined behaviours pass, after which the result can be implemented as a bitstream or carried forward into a silicon flow.
Verified blocks are retained as reusable intellectual property, allowing later designs to start from previously tested components rather than repeating the full process. Customers can use Chipforge in its cloud or within private and security-controlled infrastructure, keeping specifications and design artefacts inside a chosen boundary. The company targets satellite, drone, vehicle and sovereign-compute programmes where small teams need custom hardware quickly. Chipforge is part of ASX-listed PathKey AI Limited.

PathKey completed the acquisition of 100% of Chipforge’s issued capital on 23 June 2026. Consideration comprised 560 million fully paid PathKey ordinary shares and 150 million performance rights subject to stated vesting milestones. Chipforge adds agentic-AI workflows for translating high-level design intent into verified, synthesisable hardware code.
