About DeployX

DeployX is commercialising plasma-enhanced electrically small antenna technology derived from University of Toledo research. The approach uses controlled plasma to alter the behaviour of a compact radio-frequency aperture, with the objective of providing useful bandwidth and tunability in installations where a conventional antenna would be too large.

The company is developing the technology for resilient communications, distributed mesh networks and contested-spectrum operation across defence, aerospace and commercial platforms. Its work includes antenna engineering, radio integration and US-based manufacturing development rather than a broadly available catalogue of mature products. DeployX operates as a Red Cell company and is moving the underlying technology from laboratory development into customer demonstrations and platform-specific programmes.
