About Real-Time Innovations
RTI Connext implements the Data Distribution Service standard as a decentralised data layer for systems in which many devices and applications must exchange state with predictable timing. Publishers and subscribers communicate through typed data models and quality-of-service policies rather than point-to-point interfaces, allowing components to be added, replaced or distributed across processors without rebuilding every connection.
The portfolio includes Connext Professional for general real-time systems, Micro for constrained devices, Drive for software-defined vehicles, Cert for safety-certified applications and TSS for modular avionics. Security, monitoring and WAN connectivity extend the same data model from embedded edge nodes to operations centres and cloud services. RTI supplies commercial licences, integration engineering, training and long-term support for autonomous vehicles, medical devices, defence systems, industrial equipment and robotics, including tools that bridge DDS and ROS.
