About Ditto

Ditto develops a distributed database and synchronization platform for applications running on mobile and edge devices. Applications can read and update local data while disconnected, then synchronize directly with nearby devices or with cloud systems when connectivity returns. The platform combines automatic device discovery, peer-to-peer networking and conflict-free replicated data types to reconcile concurrent changes. It works across transports including Bluetooth, peer-to-peer Wi-Fi and local networks.

This architecture supports teams that need shared information where central servers or reliable internet connections are unavailable. Commercial uses include Alaska Airlines’ flight-attendant collaboration application and Chick-fil-A’s point-of-sale systems. Defence work extends the same data-resilience approach to contested communications environments, including USSOCOM fielding and a U.S. Marine Corps Project Dynamis evaluation. Ditto supplies the software data layer connecting applications and devices, with deployment maturity varying by customer and programme.
