The Easy Finishing Kit combines FerRobotics' ACF-K active-compliance tool with RoboDK simulation and offline programming. The ACF-K regulates contact force in real time and compensates for changes in part geometry, positioning and abrasive wear as the cobot moves across the surface.
RoboDK lets users test reach, collisions and process paths from a three-dimensional model before exporting the program to the robot. Interchangeable Dynabrade tools support grinding, sanding, polishing, brushing, cleaning and deburring across metals, wood and ceramics.

Bosch Power Tools announced plans to acquire nearly 50 percent of FerRobotics, a provider of contact-sensitive robotic sanding and surface-finishing automation. Bosch described FerRobotics as a leading provider in contact-sensitive automation. The planned transaction focused on industrial robotic sanding and related finishing workflows.
