About GIM Robotics

GIM Robotics Oy is a Finnish robotics-software company founded in 2014 from Aalto University's mobile-robotics research community. Based in Espoo, it develops hardware-independent software for mobile machines that must operate indoors, outdoors, in adverse weather or without reliable satellite positioning. Its work spans software licensing, deployment engineering, consulting and training for machine and robot manufacturers.

The product stack covers MITTA sensor calibration, KARTTA 3D mapping, PAIKKA map-based localisation, TARKKA real-time situational awareness, KILPI obstacle avoidance and the KAIKKI intralogistics package. DTA uses PAIKKA on heavy-duty AGVs working across industrial and rural sites, while GIM also works with Navitec Systems on automation solutions. Customer programmes with Škoda Digital, ABB, CNH Industrial and Hiab extend the same localisation and perception expertise into transit, marine and mobile-machinery applications.
