Embotech develops safety-certified autonomous-driving systems for industrial logistics. Automated Vehicle Marshalling moves finished vehicles through factories and logistics compounds, while the Automated Terminal Tractor system controls yard tractors carrying containers at ports and distribution sites.
AVM places lidar and compute in the facility, allowing ordinary production vehicles to drive autonomously without dedicated onboard sensor kits. It localises and coordinates mixed traffic indoors and outdoors from end-of-line to dispatch and has operated continuously in production since 2022. The system moves more than 2,500 vehicles per day, with multi-site programmes covering automotive plants and container terminals.
