About Higen RNM
Higen RNM's HFA actuator platform brings motors, compound planetary gearing, dual encoders and drive electronics into reusable robot-joint modules. Its six standard designs cover different joint requirements, from wrists and necks to hips and knees. Motor-position and current measurements allow the controller to estimate external forces and adjust joint behaviour locally.
The company combines this robot-component business with industrial servo motors, drives and mobility propulsion equipment. HFA development draws on its own motor, gearbox and electronics integration, while AMR and AGV offerings include direct-drive and in-wheel configurations. The Human-Friendly Actuator Platform was unveiled in August 2026 for humanoid developers moving toward production.

The six standardized designs span 60–348 Nm, covering applications from wrists and necks through elbows, shoulders, knees and hips. Each unit combines an axial-flux motor, 3K compound planetary gearbox, dual encoders and embedded drive electronics in a modular joint architecture. Local sensing and control are designed to respond to disturbances in under 100 milliseconds; CE and UL certification work is underway.
