KONGSBERG develops integrated systems for maritime, defence, aerospace and ocean operations. Its robotics portfolio includes HUGIN autonomous underwater vehicles, Sounder uncrewed surface vessels, sonar and navigation payloads, vessel-control systems and shore-based tools for planning, supervising and analysing remote missions.

HUGIN vehicles combine inertial navigation, terrain following and adaptive autonomy with synthetic-aperture sonar, multibeam echo sounders, cameras and environmental sensors. Configurations operate to 6,000 metres depth, while HUGIN Endurance can cover up to 2,200 kilometres over multi-day missions. Applications include seabed mapping, pipeline and cable inspection, environmental research, mine countermeasures and infrastructure surveillance, supported by launch-and-recovery, processing and remote-operations systems.
