About LEM Surgical
LEM Surgical develops Dynamis, an integrated navigation-based robotic system for thoracic, lumbar and sacral spine procedures. Two computer-controlled arms guide surgical instruments while a third arm positions the navigation camera. The arms, camera mechanism and control equipment share a cart that sits partly beneath the operating table and folds the robotic arms away when they are not required.
Dynamis imports DICOM images from compatible intraoperative imaging systems and combines them with real-time tracking for surgical planning and navigation. Its software manages robotic motion, navigation, users, case data and safety functions within the same platform. The system received US FDA clearance in April 2025 and is commercially available and in clinical use in the United States, moving LEM beyond a development-stage hard-tissue robotics programme into an active spine-surgery product.
