Marine Technology develops HydroDron, an autonomous and remotely controlled surface vessel for hydrographic surveying.
The platform carries bathymetric, sonar, LiDAR and other measurement payloads for ports, rivers, lakes, estuaries and restricted waters. Vessel control and survey instrumentation are combined into a compact field system for collecting geospatial and underwater data where crewed survey craft may be impractical. HydroDron supports autonomous routes and remote supervision during repeatable survey missions.
