About MEMSIC
MEMSIC designs and manufactures motion and magnetic sensing semiconductors for automotive, industrial, medical and consumer equipment. Its mass-produced range includes thermal and capacitive accelerometers, anisotropic magnetoresistive magnetometers, six-axis inertial measurement units and low-power Hall switches, alongside magnetic encoders and image-stabilisation controllers.
The company combines MEMS sensor chips with signal processing, algorithms and application support. Accelerometers and IMUs measure movement and orientation for navigation, stabilisation and interactive devices; magnetometers provide heading and magnetic-field data; and Hall and encoder products detect position or rotation.
