About Safran Sensing Technologies Norway
The STIM family combines three-axis gyroscopes and accelerometers with factory calibration, diagnostics and digital interfaces in compact modules. The underlying balanced-resonating MEMS architecture is designed to maintain measurement performance under shock, vibration and changing environmental conditions.
Customers integrate the modules into UAVs, satellites, guided systems, robotic platforms and stabilised payloads that need inertial data without the size and cost of a larger optical gyro. Sensonor became Safran Sensing Technologies Norway in 2021, but the STIM product identity and Norwegian manufacturing base continue.
