Mercado Libre’s logistics network connects seller inventory, fulfilment centres, sortation sites and last-mile delivery through a common order and inventory system. Automation within larger facilities moves products between storage, picking, consolidation and dispatch, reducing the amount of walking and repeated handling required from employees. The company is expanding from conventional warehouse automation into mobile manipulation. A commercial agreement with Agility Robotics will introduce Digit humanoids into fulfilment operations beginning at a Texas facility, with the initial workflow focused on repetitive movement of totes and materials. The deployment provides a route to validate humanoid operation inside Mercado Libre’s existing facilities before any expansion into Latin American sites.
