Hikvision develops video security, sensing and AIoT products for businesses, public organisations and industrial users. Its industrial automation business includes Hikrobot, which supplies machine-vision equipment and mobile robots. This combines cameras, code readers and three-dimensional sensing with robot systems that move materials through warehouses and manufacturing sites.

Hikrobot couples its mobile hardware with warehouse and fleet-control software. The iWMS warehouse-management platform connects to enterprise and manufacturing systems, while RCS assigns tasks, plans routes and manages traffic among different robot types. Together they support goods-to-person picking and transfers between storage and production areas, with interfaces to conveyors, doors, lifts and other equipment. Hikvision therefore spans both perception components and complete logistics automation through a separately branded robotics business.

    The portfolio spans more than 1,450 models across latent, forklift, carton-transfer, conveyor and heavy mobile robots. By the end of 2023, Hikrobot had delivered more than 80,000 mobile robots to over 2,000 customers worldwide. Its robot-control software had undergone four major architecture iterations, including mixed-model scheduling and low-code development.
