About URBX
URBX’s system stores inventory inside a tall three-dimensional grid and uses robotic transport to move containers between storage positions and operator workstations. The architecture is intended to use building height more fully than shelf-based automation while allowing inbound, picking and replenishment processes to share one storage structure.
Neon is designed to manage inventory location, robot traffic and workstation sequencing and to connect the grid to warehouse and order-management systems. URBX is presenting the technology as a configurable fulfilment platform for retail and distribution facilities. The first commercial system remains scheduled for launch in 2026, before a broad installed base has been established.
