About Mirai Robotics
Mirai’s software-defined architecture links vessel navigation, sensing, communications and mission control rather than treating autonomy as an isolated autopilot. The system is being developed for dock-to-dock operation, allowing a vessel to leave its base, execute a surveillance, inspection or logistics mission and return under supervised or increasingly autonomous control.
The company supplies its autonomy and information-intelligence layer to operators and shipbuilders that need existing or new vessels to become autonomy-ready. Defence applications centre on persistent maritime ISR, while commercial uses include offshore inspection, monitoring and cargo movement; Mirai identifies 2026 as its initial deployment period rather than claiming a mature installed fleet.
