About Orca AI
Orca AI’s SeaPod combines day and thermal cameras mounted above the bridge with onboard computer vision that detects, classifies and tracks vessels and other navigational hazards around the ship. The software calculates closest-point-of-approach and time-to-closest-approach risk and presents alerts alongside the crew’s existing radar and AIS information.
Shore-side software aggregates voyage events across a fleet, allowing operators to review near misses, watchkeeping behaviour and navigational performance. The system is deployed as a digital lookout and decision-support layer on commercial vessels and is also being developed toward more autonomous navigation. Orca AI supports installation, fleet integration and continuing model updates.
