About Nanotec
Nanotec supplies motors, gearboxes, encoders and controllers for precision motion, including integrated drives for mobile robots. Its modular WD wheel units combine a wheel, planetary gearbox and bearing for pairing with different motors, while compact WD42 assemblies add a brushless DC motor and encoder in a 103-millimetre-long package.
The wheel drives are configurable for AGVs, AMRs and service robots moving loads through warehouses, hospitals, care facilities and hotels. Options cover different wheel diameters, reductions, torque and speed, with 48-volt compact variants reaching stated travel speeds up to 2.2 metres per second. By delivering a matched mechanical and motor assembly, Nanotec reduces the bearings, couplings, cabling and packaging that a robot maker must engineer into each driven wheel.
