About SEW-EURODRIVE
SEW-EURODRIVE combines electric motors, gearboxes and drive electronics into motion systems for industrial machinery. Its gearmotors convert motor speed and torque to the requirements of conveyors, lifting devices, processing equipment and mobile platforms, while frequency inverters and servo drives control acceleration, positioning and synchronisation. Controllers and MOVI-C software coordinate several axes within a machine or production line.
The MAXOLUTION portfolio applies these components to automated guided vehicles and mobile assistance systems. Drive wheels, steering modules, safety functions and contactless MOVITRANS energy transfer can be configured around the load and route. SEW works with machine builders and plant operators from mechanical sizing through controls, commissioning and lifecycle service, placing the company in the drive and automation layer beneath complete robots and intralogistics systems.

- 2026-03-25 - Product Launch - SEW-EURODRIVE introduces MR P1600 mobile robot platform
MR P1600 is built for pallet movement in factories and warehouses. The platform can use MOVITRANS contactless charging to reduce charging downtime. The robot supports up to 1,600 kg loads, 1.6 m/s speed, EtherCAT, FSoE and VDA 5050 connectivity.

A six-aisle shuttle warehouse used 90 shuttles across 53 levels for about 2,400 double cycles per hour. A two-aisle pallet warehouse added 3,520 locations and debuted psb PowerCaps energy storage in a customer project. A sequencing warehouse and rotasort workstations fed Eurodrive production directly.
