About Pantograph
Pantograph is a San Francisco public-benefit corporation researching generally intelligent robots and the models used to control them. Its first hardware platform, Pandroid, is a compact tracked mobile manipulator with two six-degree-of-freedom arms, grippers, a vertical lift and four cameras. The 20-kilogram machine is designed for teleoperation, data collection, model evaluation and reinforcement-learning experiments.
Pandroid runs Linux on an onboard computer and exposes wireless, remote-access and model-integration tools so researchers can bring their own control software. Pantograph lists an eight-hour maximum battery duration, an 80-centimetre reach and one-kilogram continuous payload at full arm extension. The company currently offers early-access registration and says purchases will open later in 2026, leaving the platform pre-general-availability with no established commercial fleet.

- 2025-12-23 - Demonstration - Pantograph previews teleoperated robot hardware for real-world data collection
The preview showed robots moving household objects, building with blocks and inserting a USB cable. Additional demonstrations used scissors, an electric screwdriver and a label maker. Pantograph said the demonstrations were collected through teleoperation and that critical components had accumulated more than 10,000 hours of stress and endurance testing.
