About Primus Robotics
Primus Robotics is a joint venture between Fagor Arrasate and Funditec Intelligence developing humanoid robots for industrial environments. Its first planned platform, Primus P1, is being designed for material manipulation, production assistance and maintenance alongside people and existing machinery.
The programme combines Fagor Arrasate's industrial engineering, automation and manufacturing capacity with Funditec's embedded AI for autonomous systems. Primus OS is intended to run edge AI for perception, decisions and human-machine collaboration. Production is planned for a 2,500-square-metre facility in Arrasate, with the first functional prototype targeted for late 2027 and an initial capacity goal of 200 robots per year.
