About Relay Robotics
Relay’s robots use lidar, cameras and safety sensors to build and update indoor maps, navigate around people and obstacles, and dock for charging between jobs. Building integrations allow the robots to call and ride elevators, pass through secured doors and travel from a reception, pharmacy or service desk to a guest room, ward or department without a staff escort.
Operators load a secure ten-gallon compartment, select a destination and track the trip through a fleet interface. Authentication and chain-of-custody functions support medications, laboratory samples and clinical supplies, while hotels use the same workflow for amenities and room-service items. Relay assembles the robots in the United States and provides deployment, building integration and ongoing fleet support. The company reports more than one million completed deliveries and approximately 25,000 deliveries per month.
