About Smartshift Robotics
Smartshift Robotics makes compact mechanical tool-changing systems for collaborative and industrial robots. A standard set combines a robot-side master, tool holders and storage pockets, allowing one robot to exchange grippers, process tools or other end effectors manually or automatically during a production sequence.
Pneumatic versions connect air through the coupling and can add electrical connectors for powered tools. The system operates mechanically without changing the robot's control software, and adapters cover major cobot, SCARA and industrial-robot flange patterns. Standard units support robots with payloads up to 50 kilograms; Smartshift also supplies tool stands, fittings, cables and custom adapters for cells that need several operations from one arm.
